After working together in a candle factory, we discovered our unique synergy. In 1999, with just $30,000 in credit card debt and a lot of determination, we started our own candle business from home. Over the next six years, we built an incredible team that grew into the nation’s third-largest candle manufacturer, creating candles for major brands like Pier 1, Bath & Body Works, Better Homes and Gardens, and Mainstays.

However, the increasing focus on price created undue stress for our team. In 2010, we pivoted to a direct selling model to connect directly with our customers. We named our company Pink Zebra to embody the power and uniqueness of women, who are the primary buyers of home fragrances. Pink symbolizes empowerment, while the zebra represents individuality and strength in unity.
